Visual Merchadising- Hands on Experience
Visual merchandise allowed me to bring concepts to life through my creativity. In the early ages of my passion, I had the incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience by attending the High School of Fashion Industries, furthering my passion for developing visually engaging window displays that convey a variety of complex themes. In this particular window display, the idea was to capture the larger-than-life presence of Diana Vreeland, a legendary fashion editor and cultural tastemaker. In capturing Vreeland’s dramatic flair, I created my version of her legendary red room with an outline of her side profile, which catches the viewer’s eye to interact with the window display to see the entire installation.

Window Display
A window Display portraying the Greek God Hermes. All elements in the installation representing Hermes were hand-made and placed in an intentional position to coexist and convey a Greek god without having to include him.
Before I can bring a concept to life, I must visualize the idea by creating a mock-up in Photoshop/Adobe. This skill allows me to experiment freely and see how all the elements—colors, props, mannequins, lighting, signage—will work together before physically assembling a concept.
